警方仍在努力查明这位疑似华裔女性的死亡原因、死亡时间和死亡地点。

之前有人怀疑死者是2023年7月后失踪至今的华人房产中介鲍女士（Yanfei Bao），但警方已排除这项可能。
“我们全国各地的团队已经对这种可能性进行了调查，但我们可以排除这名受害者是鲍女士，”Williams说。
死者被发现时是在“干净的黑色塑料袋里”。
